ذكرت ايريس فاريلا وزيرة السجون في فنزويلا أن تسعة سجناء واثنين من الحراس لاقوا حتفهم خلال أحداث شغب في سجن بولاية لارا بجنوب غرب البلاد.
وأضافت فاريلا أن أحداث الشغب التي جرت في سجن فينيكس يوم الخميس باتت تحت السيطرة وأن مكتب الادعاء سيحقق في الأمر.
ويوم الأربعاء، اجتاحت أعمال شغب سجن هيليكويد في العاصمة كراكاس حيث يتم احتجاز عشرات المعارضين لحكومة الرئيس نيكولاس مادورو. ولم يسقط قتلى في هذه الواقعة.
